The Rogue was beer number two, a West-coast style pale ale or IPA. Overly hopped with lots of citrus notes, the Rogue was an instant classic and a much-requested fan favorite.
Also called the Shannanator in honor of one of it's devotees, this beer is strong but goes down smooth.

The Gambit
It all started with the Gambit, a simple red ale.
A miscalculation in the recipe lead to an excessive specific density which prevented the yeast from firmenting properly. This made the final result too sweet (none of the bottling sugar was digested) and just plain bizarre.
Emergency measures were taken (all the beer was dumped back into the fermenter and more water and yeast were added. The revised beer was successfully rebottled and happily consumed.
